The originators and authors of the Language of Work Model™ will walk us through their Job Modeling process. As one of the key interventions of the highly robust Language of Work approach to Performance Technology, job models are used for curriculum development, job clarity and descriptions, technology transfer, organizational alignment and reorganization, performance review, among other uses. Complete job models with skills, knowledge and attributes can be developed in four to six hours. The Langdons will take us through an overview of the very process they use with subject matter experts in defining job models, such as their current work with the Boeing company that has adopted job models for curriculum development.
The presentation will last 60 minutes, with an optional extra 30 minutes for discussion with the presenters. Participants will receive a sample job model typical of a performance technologist.

SPECIAL BONUS: Thanks to the Langdon’s generosity, ISPI Atlanta will present a free set of the Language of Work: “The Work Trilogy” to one lucky webinar participant!
Guest Facilitators:
Danny and Kathleen are the principals of Performance International. They are both past international presidents of ISPI, have written a number of books, and published numerous articles. Their most recent publication is “The Work Trilogy,” a three-book series that captures their intellectual and applied work improvement experience. They consult primarily for leading companies such as Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Microsoft, HP, Micron Technology, among others. The Language of Work was originated in 1992 by Danny and is perhaps the most robust Performance Technology approach given that its behaviorally-based “Work Formula” can be used to facilitate the identification and resolution of a wide range of business needs.
