Expert Panel:

Kathryn Adams, CPT

Kathryn Sulloway Adams is a Director of HR at WarnerMedia supporting the Finance and Global Real Estate organizations. She is a 20 year member of ISPI and served on the CPT Certification and Accreditation Governance Committee. She has spent her career integrating HPT into the world of HR to provide holistic solutions to clients such as the CTO & President of Sales at Sprint.

Kathryn earned a BS in Psychology from UGA and a MS in Human Resources Development from GSU. Additionally, she holds the following professional certifications: SHRM-SCP, CPT, Certified Performance Consultant and Certified Sherpa Coach.

Tony Muschara, CPT

Tony is a specialist in the field of human error risk management for mostly industrialized enterprises and principal consultant and owner of Muschara Error Management Consulting, LLC.  Before starting his business in 2007, Tony was employed by the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) from 1985 to 2007. INPO, sponsored by the commercial nuclear industry, is an independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the highest levels of safety and reliability in the operation of nuclear electric generating plants.

Tony is author of Risk-Based Thinking: Managing the Uncertainty of Human Error in Operations (2017) published by Routledge, an imprint of Taylor and Francis. While at INPO, Tony developed his expertise in human and organizational performance, which has applicability to any human endeavor especially hands-on work. He developed extensive guidance for the nuclear electric generating industry around the world as well as the U.S. Department of Energy.

Susan O’Connell

For over 18 years, Susan O’Connell has created and managed learning programs targeted at performance. She has worked as an internal and external consultant across industries including commercial, government, and non-profit. Susan holds a Master of Education in Human Resource and Organizational Development from the University of Georgia and is currently a Learning Program
Manager for the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations.
